Rep Power: 3 | Walking after a meal is recommended. But you need to do it the right way. Walk immediately after eating is wrong. Because the digestive system need more blood to help digest the food you ate. If you walk instantly, the blood will goes to other organs, this is not good for digestion and absorption, and some people may feel like vomiting & dizzy. Now you may ask when is the right time to go for a walk? Before walking, you have to give about thirty minute to an hour (or even more time, it depends on the person and what you have eaten) to let the digestive system digest the food and absorb the nutrition you intake. After this short rest, you can go for a thirty minute light walking. This is the healthy way to walk after eating. To sum up, walking after a meal is recommended, but you should do it right. After eating, you had better take a short rest to get the food digested, then go for a leisurely stroll, this is not only good for your health but also can help you keep in sharp. |

Rep Power: 10 | Its not advised to have water while having food or even after having food because if you drink water then it will dilute the acid present in the stomach & as a result the digestion won't happen properly. |

Drinking tea as such is not harmful, but the combination of tea, milk and sugar interferes with the digestion. So if you want to have tea, leave milk and sugar out of it. And the tea should be brewed not boiled. | ||
