    Cool The Accidental Husband

The Accidental Husband is a romantic comedy film starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Uma Thurman and,Colin Firth.

The protagonist about to be engaged is dumped because his girl friend is advised to do so by host of a Radio show.

He then proceeds to ruin the marriage of the 'host' by enlisting the help of his fried who hacks into the government database and changes her status as being married to the protagonist.

Unaware of this she proceeds to get married and is stopped by the authorities. She, then has to get sign of the protogonist.

Before he signs the papers, he puts through various ordeals which makes her realize her mistakes.

I personally like this because it highlights the influence of the celebrities over the public and how their irresponsiblities can 'touch' many lives.

I would rate this as - I can watch it twice

Casablanca is a movie I can many times.

I fell in love with Ingrid Bergman. She is so conventionally beautiful - she and Grace Kelly.

.... ingrid and grace kelly and katherine and audrey hepburn. now the list is more attractive.
among the new females i like julianne moore the most.
do u guys remember katherine hepburn in "bringing up baby" opposite cary grant.
it is one of the top five hillarious movies i ve ever seen.

do any of u guys like bogey's "the maltese falcon".
remember the dialogue " ....the same stuff dreams r made of". wonderful.
he was the first tough guy, then came so many. john wayne, clint eastwood. arnold started a new era for tough guys. hollywood is just great.

in the movie we have Andy Dufresne (tim robbins) who wrongly gets convicted for murderin his wife and so is given a life sentence. He spents about 20 yrs in jail, till he escapes in his own classic style.
the movie portrays the difficulities in prison and the politics behind prison officials.
morgan freeman plays andy's best friend in jail, and the whole movie is narrated by him.

if you want to see classic acting then dont miss it.Everyone from the prison warden to the insignificant shallow prison mate does an awesom job at it

Great movie, but you gave away the spoiler ;-)

Some people say that exact dialog never occurred in that movie.
    I haven't seen that in a while and I don't remember.

u r absolutely correct. as far as i can remember bogart never said it. ingrid once asked the piano player to play the song 'u must remember this'. she said something like 'play it sam'.
later in the film bogey once said 'if she can stand it, i can, play it'.
thats it and i know all about it.
but, the phrase "play it again sam" has become one of the most (mis)quoted line from any motion picture ever. that is exactly why people say "play it again sam" rather than "play it" which bogey actually said.

if u like this scene i suggest u watch that part in 'the naked gun 22 1/2'. one of the most memorable parodies ever.

roman holiday was her first screen appearence. she literally killed every man who watched the movie.
but her career best performances were in "My fair lady" and in " Breakfast at tiffany's".
i can never forget her singing "moonriver" sitting on the window.

It was one of the couple of movies which I had to watch... cuz of strong recommendations from friends... I watched it only 3-4 days back... And I was just blown out of this world by it... All the actors are awesome... With great direction & story... Thank God, I didn't see ur review before watching it... else I would have known the climax... lol..

I would give this movie a rating of without a doubt...

    Cool The Departed

This one is another which I had to watch...

    Plot -
In South Boston the state police force is waging war on organized crime. Young undercover cop Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) is assigned to infiltrate the mob syndicate that is run by gangland chief Costello (Jack Nicholsan). While Billy is quickly gaining Costello's confidence, Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon), a hardened young criminal who has infiltrated the police department as an informer for the syndicate, is rising to a position of power in the Special Investigation Unit. Each man becomes deeply consumed by his double life, gathering information about the plans and counter-plans of the operations he has penetrated. But when it becomes clear to both the gangsters and the police that there's a mole in their midst, Billy and Colin are suddenly in danger of being caught and exposed to the enemy--and each must race to uncover the identity of the other man in time to save himself.

    Pros -
Story writing was great, acting was awesome, direction incredible... Makes the audience to sit on the edge of their seats...

    Cons -
Too much violence... Even if the story needs it...

    Special -
It is a privilege to watch a legend who is still so relevant: Martin Scorsese. The iconic director is responsible for some of hollywood's all-time masterpieces (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas), but perhaps never has he seemed so vigorous....

The Departed is based on a 2002 Chinese movie called Wu jian dao (Internal Affairs). The original movie was directed by Wai Keung Lau and Siu Fai Mak.Both Films r very good. But I dont think it deserved best film oscar. After all, its a remake. But then again, its hollywood.

    Angry Kill Kill Faster Faster

Its not exactly a hollywood production... Its made in UK... I watched it cuz it has Lisa Ray in it... Yes Lisa Ray of Indian Cinema... Dramatic, intelligent and very hot sex action, hugely ambitious for an independent film, Killl Kill Faster Faster is a dark, erotic love story, a contemporary film noir... Sex is the hinge, the highlight, the horror and the horrendous conflict of the story and it is acted out with jaw-dropping tension and compulsion...

Plot - Recently paroled after serving a long stretch for his wife's murder, Joey One-Way aligns himself with a producer who has optioned the play he wrote in prison. As he sets about adapting his work for the big screen, Joey falls for his new pal's ex-con wife, and enters into a doomed affair.

The Good - Lisa Ray's erotic scenes and orgasmic expressions... Audience can fall in love with her...

The Bad- It kind of fell flat in 2nd half.. The movie and premise had potential, but they missed out on adding some suspense... I couldn't wait to get it over... In the end I realized I wasted my time on a crap.

Cool The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

I think this is the best movie released yet with the title 'The Mummy'. Unlike the other mummy films, this one is not related to Egypt, but China. Maybe it's because I am fond of Chinese/Japanese traditions I found this movie interesting.

Sorry, but I don't know how to write reviews without spoilers. So no review.

    For Anime Fans.

This movie reminded me of Dragon Ball Z for some reason.
At least some of the characters did.

Rick O'Connell (Brendan Fraser) - Son Goku
Evelyn O’Connell (Maria Bello)- Chi Chi
Alex O'Connell (Luke Ford) - Son Gohan
Jonathan Carnahan (John Hannah)- Master Roshi
    Lin (Isabella Leong)- Videl Satan
Zi Juan ( Michelle Yeoh)- Android 18
Emperor Han (Jet Li) - Cell

    You think I am crazy.

The movie is not perfect but I loved it. And I would watch it again and again. So I will give this movie, the dude with sunglass rating.

For me this Mummy 3 was strictly OK sort of film... Might be cuz I'm a fan of egyptian culture... I missed Rachel Weiz too... Brendan Fraser looked out of color throughout... My rating - , i.e. 3 out of 6...

Yeah! He wasn't at his best. More like a retired hero. And I missed Rachel Weisz too.
But they can't put a young, cute actress in the role of a middle aged women can they ?
That's one reason I said it reminded me of Dragon ball Z
I liked the visual effects and camera views of this movie too.

    Unhappy Cellular

It looks like I am in for bad times... Things in country are not well and I seem to be wasting a lot of dough on some real shitty movies... Saw Cellular yesterday at home and it was another of the bad movies coming out of the oh-so-otherwise-awesome Hollywood...

I am not sure what happened to Kim Basinger... I think she once used to be a very pretty woman... Now, she looks like a stone and a good example of how not to screw up your face with Plastic Surgery... She has to take some inspiration from Demi Moore who showed how you could look prettier than the young gals in the otherwise terrible movie Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle...

I am something of a fan of this guy named Jason Statham who has done some incredible work in otherwise not so good movies like Transporter (1 and 2) and one good one in The Bank Job... He was wasted in Pink Panther and I think he was wasted in this movie too!

Plot(imdb) - A woman is kidnapped out of her house and brought somewhere and locked in a room. Now there's a phone in the room but before she could use it, her captor smashes it. She then tinkers with it and manages to get a dial tone but is unable to dial. She then crosses wires and contacts a young surfer. When she tells him that she has been kidnapped; he doesn't believe her and/or care but he goes to the police to report the crime. When he gets to the station he gets the run around. While waiting he hears the woman's conversation with her captor and learns that her family's in danger so he tries to help them but in the process of doing that he commits some acts that make the police think he's a criminal or crazy; like stealing a car and brandishing a gun in public.

This was one good movie. talk about legends not only Martin but Nickelson, Dicaprio, Sheen and jason bourne Wahlburg ka naam nahin liya to usko bura lage ga.

It was a classic multi starrer, which is rare in Hollywood. Balke rarest hain. Isse bara star cast kya ho sakta hain ???

    Watched 3 movies last weekend...

The Happening/Bank Job and Behind Enemy Lines

All three are amazing movies, The Happening is a thriller about the unknown. It frightens the watcher with the helplessness of its characters and their imminent doom.
Bank Job is a movie about a famous Bank Heist and how it ends up complicating the lives of all the small time robbers
Behind Enemy Lines is about a Nato pilot who gets shot down in a peacekeeping mission behind enemy lines and his survival
