Well this is the most recent Hollywood Movie i have watched ...... It won 2 Oscars and 19 Nominations ......Definitely a must watch if u ask me .... starring Brad Pitt as Jesse james

Well the movie is based on the real life story of Jesse James an outlaw and a bandit in the state of Missouri USA ....I am not going to reveal the story now ,its best watched first as it is full of suspense .... Speaking about acting the stand out performer according to me would be Casey Affleck as shy and easily frightened Robert Ford ... His Performance is absolutely fantastic and hard not to notice [he was nominated for oscars]....Coming close behind is Brad Pitt , even though his role as the serious and Gregarious Jesse James is not as taxing as that of Robert Ford's he still makes an impact onscreen ,Especially in the latter part of the movie where he has to act as a paranoid fellow.

The story on which the movie is based is very real and nothing short of thrilling .
Though i must warn u that if you have nt been exposed to 'old American English Slang' u may find the conversation a little difficult to follow.Better watch it with Sub-Tittles if u can ....
You get to even see a spectacular Train Robbery scene ....Many beautiful scenes like that of Cottage on a hill surrounded by corn and maize fields being blown by the wind are absolutely breath taking ....
I am guessing that the movie was filmed in Missouri ......
All in all its a must watch and if u r a collector a must have ....

I would give it a rating of 4.0 out of 5 .......And term it a 'Must Watch Film' .... it ll def set ur grey cells thinking a very moving film ....

Its a bit slow , yes....And If u read user reviews for it [google it up] ... u ll see sentences like "Its one of the best movies of this decades" etc .... At no point does it get boring ...... Like i said before full of Suspense

But i am completely confused by "Horrible" ..... He must be mental to call a movie which has 19 oscar nominations and has won 2 oscars "Horrible" ...And has a thrilling real life story and Brad Pitt as its hero !..Only thing i can say is he is a very bad Movie reviewer....

Ofcourse some people for reasons of their own do not like good movies ....

But if you google up user ratings u ll find it very positive ...Majority say its a good movie

Many English movies are slow...especially the Drama ones.
After watching Bollywood movies, we get a wrong mentality about such slow English movies.
So never judge an English film from what you hear from a friend.Check out the ratings & reviews on IMDB to get an idea.

I don't trust IMDB ratings but only the comments from the reviews.

Yes ratings can be misleading for some of them.
Some movies in the Top 250 just don't deserve to be there.

i agree imdb ratings are not so accurate at times ... it reflects more of the choices and preferences of americans ... the biggest example is titanic .. u wont find titanic in the imdb top 250 list ....

but most of the times imdb ratings are quite correct ... as a suggestion - start downloading and watching a few of the movies from the top of the IMDB top 250 list .. IMDb Top 250 .. u would realize how good they are ...
