    Lightbulb Review : Vantage Point

    INTRODUCTION
Well this is another movie i have watched . Its a bit political if u ask me. The movie uses a radical new method of flashbacks from different perspective. In fact most of the movie is just flashbacks of the same event from the eyes of different people .

    STORYLINE
    The story is simple .....

An Assassination attempt of American president Henry Ashton who is attending an Anti-terrorism summit in Salamanca Spain .His story is intertwined with that of Thomas Barnes a secret service agent who previously gets shot trying to protect the president from another assassination attempt in the past . He recovers and is now sent to gaurd the president one more time .But this time he s paranoid ,this lends some amount of suspense to the movie. This event is shown from the eyes of different people like an American Tourist , Spanish police,GNN Reporter [not in order]etc each perspective is more detailed than the last .

    ACTING
My stand Out actor for this movie would be Forest Whitetaker as the American Tourist Howard Lewis. His acting is very powerful . Even though its not a major role in the movie he still lends it a lot of credibility with powerful display of emotions .

Dennis Quaid as The secret service agent Thomas Barnes comes a close second.

    Cons:
Not a good time to make such a movie [politically]

    CONCLUSION
Its a very good movie and i ll rate it 3.5-4 out of 5 stars
Watching it is well worth ur time if you r not very involved in International politics.....

Dennis Quaid is one of my favourite actors. He looked so old in this movie. I guess time gets to us all.
When I was a kid, i used to think Dennis Quaid and Pierce Brosnan were brothers. Just a childhood notion.

Yeah he looks kinda tired or maybe worn out in this movie .......
But that may be because his role needed that kind of prop ..... Not too sure though

This film has used two complete different techs.
FLASHBACK and DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. A very unique and distinguished approach by the director.
    Good Film.
