You should see the comments posted by users who have downloaded this movie from P Bay and other torrent sites. One comment says "....indians don't use deo...they stink of curry......"

Man, you can feel their hatred emanating from your computer screen. This was one of my first experiences with Racism on the net. It leaves you puzzled. I mean what problem does a guy in some back country town of Iowa have with Indians halfway across the world?

And you know what, you feel like responding to these remarks but again wonder if it is worth the effort.

What they portrayed is the movie is a fact. You can't deny it.
They showed one side of India which is not developed.

Will be hopefully watching the movie next week, heard very good reviews from friends and Ramesh, and i know its a must watch film, so have full expectations from this movie!

Saw the a scene from the awards night, and you could tell from the audiences faces they its a truly loved film. Good job for Anil Kapoor, who got into a Hollywood movie and done well for himself after years in Bollywood!

And the actors, showing the bad side of India doesn't mean its a bad film, like Ramesh said its the reality of one side of India.

The movie release date is 23rd January 2009 in India!

Cinematography is awesome. Even in the dirtiest place in Mumbai, it looked so beautiful to watch. It’s not a bad movie. It’s so-so. One time watch.

Good movie but a little overrated.
Direction is awesome but the plot has a lot of loopholes.

I didn't like it. It didn't live up to the hype. Very
    mediocre movie.

    -F

and Anil Kapoor came off as a total jerk. This is supposed
to be a classy and friendly show. It was fantastic with
Regis in it (In the American version).
    He never disparaged any contestant.

Here Anil Kapoor insults the contestant whenever he
gets a chance and his jokes are not even funny.

Maybe it portays the Indian attitude towards the
lower echelons of society. What if he is a tea-wala,
he is doing a respectable job and earns his living.
what is the point of making fun of his job.

i think it is highly over rated.. It was just a movie.. thts all.. didnt have any kinda message or portray anything.. just a regular movie with a story line .. the child actors did an awesome job though..
