Introduction

Released on 2006 , this ones a Leonardo DiCaprio Starrer .Its about The civil War in Sierra Leone Africa . Specifically about Blood Diamonds or conflict Diamonds . Hounsou co stars with Leonardo as Solomon Vandy and both of them do a spectacular job ! . Leonardo got the "Best Actor Award" and Hounsou "the bEst supporting actor" award . The movie itself was a huge hit raking in a slew of awards ! .

Subject

This is one of the movies which carries a message . Its a must watch as it puts across a very important message in a beautifully moving manner . Its hard not to get emotional watching the movie as it shows many of the atrocities committed during the civil war on Child soldiers and innocent African civilians during the civil war .
It has a beautiful story and a moving ending . I highly recommed this movie to anybody who likes to watch a good movie !

its one of the best films i have ever seen. such direction was expected from a brilliant story teller like Edward Zwick.
Leonardo did a much matured acting. but i dont know why hounsou was awarded an oscar nomination. he did good but not that good.

I thought he was more deserving than Leonardo .... His portrayal of anguish was sooooooooooo moving

i dont know, its a matter of personal preference maybe. who knows!!!
anyway, i know him(hounsou) for a long time. since the late 90's when he appeared in films like deep rising.

Yeah seen him in other films

Yeah, I consider this one as one of the best film of Leonardo, but still to me he was best in The departed,

back on topic, this was indeed a good plot to say a movie

great movie
