So you saw a good movie you didn't understand that well at first.
Or movies with some hidden meaning
List them here.

well one of complicated movies is actually a bollywood movie, maybe you should open the same kind of thread in the bollywood section!
At the first moment i didnt get the movie
Oceans 13
thats it!
There were many Hollywood movies which I didn't understand @ the first time like:
- The Matrix
- A Beautiful Mind
- Memento
Come on...Bollywood movies are simple to understand...bacche bhi samajh lete hai![]()
bas yahi samajhte hain na ki ladki kapde utar rahi hai ya ladki ko 4 ladke ched rahe hain aur fir hero aa gaya bachane ko.......come on dear these are the basic thing.......u know what a film academy teaches to its student that never play with the audiences emotions......but in the every 2nd movie we can see things like that are happening.....
no bolly movie is complicated........![]()
A typical bollywood movie:
1. Boy meets girl
2. Something happens.
3. Boy marries girl.

The thing about movies like "The Beautiful Mind" is that people take a little time to get the grip of the idea of schizophrenia. That's why some people even find "Fight Club" confusing the first time.
Oh and Oceans 13 was not complicated in any way!!
great list of hollywood movies so far...definitely have to agree with the Matrix (all 3 of them!).
Fight Club is 'gettable' the first time, but subsequent watching makes u notice a lot more nuances since you know 'the secret'.
had to dig around to remember these ones as additions:
"The Usual Suspects"
"Vanilla Sky" (very confusing but not worth watching a 2nd time to understand!)
I've heard that this movie called Primer (2004) is ultra complcated.
Anyone seen it ?
The Fountain, with Hugh Jackman is one confusing movie....
nd the list goes here.....
12 Monkeys
Jacob's Ladder
A Clockwork Orange
Mulholland Dr.
Persona
The most complicated (and yet very satisfying) movie that I have seen is 2001 A Space Odyssey.
i think memento would top the list of most complicated movies.it took me 3 4 yimes to get a hold of it!!
All the movies listed are somewhat difficult to understand
in one viewing, but ultimately we can figure out what is
going on after a couple of viewings.
In that category the most complicated movie ever is "Mulholland Drive."
You can never figure it out how many ever times you watch it
because each time it ends in a contradiction. I think Lynch
deliberately convoluted it so that there is not a definite answer
to that movie.
Another complicated movie is called "Brain Dead", this is second to
Mulholland Drive.
In a different Genre where you cannot figure out an important detail
is "Blade Runner". It's difficult to figure out whether Deckard is a
replicant or not.

@ amitkool21 - What's complicated about Clockword Orange...I found it quite ok & also think its a bit overrated.
Now I gotta watch all the recommendations here.
Forgot about "Sliding Doors". This is a tricky one too.
Got copied in Tamil as 12B and prople hated it
since they didn't understand the movie.

1st of all it was Clockwork Orange not Clockword Orange..........
now secondly i've not seen these movies these are just voted out by some other member on our so called net........thats why i poted it here........i don't think that any movie can be so complicated to understand......
well i got hold of clockwork orange.just that i hated it!! stupid movie!!
lolzzz...
i tried to remove the keeda from my screen...
and i saw mullholand drive.just for naomi!!!![]()
and yet it was critically acclaimed!!
god knows what goes on in the mind of the critics!!
yeh dint get the last james bond movie,
but im still definetly sure it was crap,so no lose.
nice signature, farce![]()
