Alright guys last night i saw The Wrestler and i couldn't resist to share with you all.. I've continuously seeing new releases but only 2 movies manage to impress me first one was The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and the other one is "The Wrestler"..
Frankly i've never seen the actor part of "Mickey Rourke"...But the way he acted in "The wrestler" it's just splendid.. This movie impresses "Roddy Piper" so much that he eventually cried after screening.. Same case with me.. This movie actually depicts the life of wrestler(Randy "The Ram" Robinson) after his prime.. He desperately try to gel with society but nobody give sh*t.. His relationship with her daughter is not good. He live in "Trailor" which got locked frequently for not paying the rent. He wrestles on the weekends and other time some "Box Loading" at supermarket which he hates very much.. One day after wrestling a promoter proposes a 20th anniversary rematch with Ayatollah which he accepted thinking that this could change his life, but after one brutal match with some local wrestler he suffered a severe heart attack.. The doctor advices him not to take steroids or to wrestle again, which lead him to cancel all the matches including that big one with the Ayatollah.. He again try to move on with life accepting pathetic job at supermarket again, But fail to do so. He then decide to wrestle again by accepting the truth that he only get love in ring, Only thing society is giving is pain.. The last scene was quite emotional where he enter the ring with "Sweet Child O'Mine" guitar riff followed by emotional speech and then final match..
There's supporting role of that Strip Club dancer Cassidy aka Pam.. I like her dance..lol
Guys do pitch in with your thought...
