    Default Review: American History X

After seeing this movie i was wondering that why didn't i saw this movie, I've this movie for last 1 year and i didn't watched because most of my friends said it's bit slow movie, I gathered courage last night and watched this movie and believe me people it's something which i like to put in my top list...

Still wondering why Edward Norton didn't get academy award for this..Brilliant work by him also amazing acting by Edward Furlong (John Conner in Terminator 2: Judgment Day)

American History X is true master piece by Tony Kaye... It basically a story of Derek Vinyard(Edward Norton) and His younger brother Danny Vinyard(Edward Furlong), the two skin-head nazi racist brother... Derek started to hate black people after his father get murdered by some black drug dealer, and that lead him to join Cameron Alexander(Stacy Keach) master-mind behind the gang. Very soon he recruit some disturbed white people and become commander of Venice Beach Neo-Nazi gang. His brother also started to follow his footsteps. One night some black people try to steal his car, in response derek confronts them and killed them brutally which lead him to serve 3 years in jail (And that becomes the turning point of his life), Incidents happens in jail(Which you better see, cause i've no words to describe those) which reform derek.. But now he has to to save his family, his brother from gang because they treat him like god and he desperately try to left all of the hatred...

I like the ending, because it's not orthodox. You don't want me to ruin the ending .. If you haven't watched it, You are missing something....

    One of my favourite movies.

Very powerful, feels like someone punched you in the stomach
    after watching the movie ;-)

Not for people with weak stomachs or hearts, especially
    the infamous 'curb' scene.

regarding the academy awards, I just saw slumdog millionare
and can't see what the hoopla was about, definitely not
    deserving the best picture award.
