and yes there are so many quotes which i like but they aren't in list..Don't know what's their criteria

The two obvious ones which are missing that I can think of:

"Unfortunately no one can be told what the matrix is, you'll have to see it for yourself." - The Matrix.

"Luke, I am your father" - Empire strikes back, one of the most overused and clichéd quotes in Hollywood.

"Houston, we have a problem." - Apollo 13. Its a real quote but was made famous by the mini series.

This list is not indication of how much famous a quote is.
Now, do this list indicate of favourites (in context of what?) but do the voting was restrictive of open to all?A jury of 1,500 film artists, critics and historians selected in 3 hour events -AFI( which release this list).
A list favour by some is not everyone favs of all.Voting should have been open to all through net after some major advertising of it.
This is subjective matter but yeah if its not totally wrong.
If we take sentiments in quotes even then it also dont hold watter.
This list should not have been number & include some more quotes..

PS: Its not me only but many critics have also cricised this list & are horrified by numbering.
