Thread: Review: The Doberman Gang

The Doberman Gang is a movie about a gang of robbers who train a pack of Doberman dogs to rob a bank. The doberman gang is trained by a lady. She has dog whistles and she trains them immaculately to obey the signals for every whistle tone. She teams with three other men to plan a bank robbery. The dogs deliver a written message to bank cashier to hand over the money. If they do not obey, the dogs bark and snap at them.

The caper is successful. But as a usual twist to the story the guys double cross the woman. But they are unaware or unmindful of the fact that the woman still holds the whistles. So she turns back at them and the dogs manage to get the money back. But what happens in the end is yet another twist.

This is a B Grade Hollywood movie. But it is OK to watch on a rainy Sunday (or on a night when your girlfriend claims to have a "headache").

Plot seems to be interesting..

has there been a remake?
saw this movie in 1987 or 1988.

The one I saw is a 1970's version (looking at the cars, actors, hair styles, and all that).
