The Gods Must Be Crazy - II is a sequel to the hilarious The Gods Must be Crazy.

This continues the journey of Xi to understand the human civilization. Although Xi does not set out to go and mix with civilization, he is forced to do so when his children go missing.

The film has four sub plots:

a) Xi trying to find his two children
b) Elephant poachers who are smuggling ivory - unknown to them, Xi's children are trapped in their water taker.
c) A man and woman lost in the desert
d) Two guerrilla solders fighting each other and try to take the other captive

The four stories are neatly woven together in such a cool manner (hats off to the writer and editor) that there is no moment that is boring.

The only reason that this movie may make you laugh less is because some of the novelty is lost. But let that not dampen you. It is as just a great watch as the first one.

This is also very nice to watch but didnt please me as much as the first part did. So i give it 4/5

I found the movie to be okay compared to the first one. 3.5/5 for me.
