Default Movie Recommendation: The Bonfire of the Vanities

I am not reviewing the movie here. I mean that really speaking there is not much that can be written and in my opinion, nothing will be too much. The plot appears to be straight forward. But in my opinion, it is an extremely well made film. Those of you who wish to check the synopsis, can do so at IMDB or Wikipedia.

I will recommend everyone to watch this film. If my 8000+ posts don't mean a thing, then check this out:

    Director: Brian De Palma
    Novel by: Tom Wolfe
    Cast
    • Tom Hanks
    • Bruce Willis
    • Melanie Griffith
    • Kim Cattrall
    • Morgan Freeman
    • John Hancock
    • Kevin Dunn
    • Clifton James

    Rating: 4/5

And I promise that you will not regret. But it is not an action movie. It is drama - courtroom drama.

that caught my attention. I am a big courtroom drama fan.
I am addicted to Law and Order.

The only problem is after watching such polished court scenes,
whenever I watch Tamil serials and they have court scenes it
raises my blood pressure a lot at the total amateurish way
    the courtroom drama is handled.

thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out.

even though it probably doesn't come under drama, did you
guys like Runaway Jury, it is more a courtroom action movie ;-)

A Few Good Men is no doubt a brilliant movie but it is well publicized.

It is my intention to bring to notice some really good movies which are not known in India.

I thought the dialogues are one of the best for a drama movie. The script is also very precise and does not waste time. All hallmarks of a great movie.

I must have watched the movie at least 25 times. I watch it whenever its on TV.
