Thread: how to pick up best cooling Pad.

wat r the requirements to be cosidered while buying a coolingpad for laptops

1) must Dissipate heat effectively
2) Lightweight with a durable construction
3) good locking mechanism

There must be Gap between beetwen Laptops base and cooling Pad. If there is curvature in Cooling pad it's better. Fans should blow the air onto the laptop and not suck the air from it. As blowing helps better. dont go for 3 or 4 fan model. 2 fans are ok. and last it should hold laptop firm ( means it should have anti skid surface at all corners like at base of laptop there are rubber parts.) as stands have a slight angle which makes laptop slip if not supported firmly.

Local models are available from Rs.300-500 and Branded from targus and belkin are available from around 1500. I got a local one from ebay 6 moths back for Rs.375=00 which is working fine till today , it even has blue led lights inbuilt.

i chkd on coolermaster's web-site, and logitech's website before venturing. look for other tech sites / blogs for reviews about cooling pads. i have a coolermaster note pal infinite. works great.
