Well, there is a HUGE problem with my frens HTPC,

He got a ATI 4670 which has onboard 7.1 ch sound card.
Now, when u connect it to ur TV via HDMI(using DVI-HDMI doggle provided) u get NO audio.
For that u can get the latest dirvers from the realtek website. Download the HD audio drivers for ATI cards(will be writen in red color). That fixes the issue.

But then comes the main problem.

He then tried to attach it to his yamaha(363) A/V reciver. He gets NO AUDIO.
I chked many other forums, it seems that many many ppl have the same problem, even with recivers of other brands(Sony, Denon,onkyo,etc).

Can some1 help ?
