Hello.. i want to know what's the best phone which i can get for about 4k bucks. I've narrowed down on Nokia 2700c, its got all what i want, but is such a rather complete phone also available in Sony Ericsson for the price? Cause i've heard wonderful things about SE phones... Help me out please.

Please don't suggest samsung.

i m sure u ll be able to find one on ur range with all ur requirements

i already did aashaka... and they dnt mention the price on those phones (none of them do)...

looks like i'l have to go the nokia way.. the se phones in that range just look sexy, but they're inferior in features.

yes there's moto, but i get turned off by their buttons. And also by the somewhat confusing sms editor.

oh were you talking specifically of motorola ? sorry i didnt read all posts just i read the last and replied.

Not just in china but you get in micro max and some other local Indian brand also.

i seriously doubt those mobiles would get me satisfied. and i've a rule to never go unbranded when it comes to electronics.

more or less the ones on the 2700c..or the 3110c.

basically speaking, a good UI to start with, an average (above VGA) camera, good battery life, a bigger than 128x128 screen (i'm sick of these), a good enough music player, ability to support appz like opera mini, xhtml browser. not to mention extendible memory but it will be standard in music enabled phones.

hmm i doubt any other can give you all these, micromax is good but cam and app support is not there, cam is just VGA

and i guess here is where nokia stands apart... even sub 3k phones support appz with internet access. just checked, the 2700 is still not available! damnit... q2 2009 is over and still its not here... maybe i'l just get a 3110 then (if its still available ) sick n tired of waiting.
