Fujifilm has launched word’s first 3D camera. As a special Camera you can view the Finepix Real 3D W1. Already at photokina 2008, Fujifilm has introduced the 3D technology. Now with 3D camera, a photographer can capture 3D pictures and movies. The results can then for example in the 3D digital picture frames from Fujifilm considered without additional aids.

To make this possible two 3D real W1 lenses and the shot images are then placed in the camera superimposed. The camera contains two 3x optical zoom and takes photos with two 10-megapixel sensors. The picture can be printed on 3D holographic paper. 2D images are also possible, with gimmicks such as two simultaneous recordings, each with longest and shortest focal length are possible.
The Finepix Real 3D W1 will cost 500 euros (Rs. 34,600) approx.

Here is a sample picture of 3D image and 3D effect can be viewed by High-resolution 3D Printing on leticular sheet or 3D LCD monitor (I will discuss it on another thread).

Printing Technology for Production of Quality 3D Prints:
The Camera captures 2 snaps for single image from different angles for high-resolution, low- halation prints with lenticular sheets (sheet with cylindrical parallel lenses) that create the 3D effect. Advance Technology encodes and aligns the captured 3D image according to the pitch of micro lenses arranged in parallel rows on the lenticular sheet . Seen through the sheet, image data is perceived with a parallax effect. The result is a natural and beautiful 3D print.

3D printing Principles:
Step 1- When passing through the lenticular sheet, interlaced image data are separated into left and right images.
Step 2- The left and right eyes see the respective images.
Step 3- Parallax interprets the difference between the images as a sense of depth.
