    Default iPods in the workplace

It is a common trend these days for people to carry their iPods with them everywhere. And this is also seen in offices. Business houses are even starting the use of iPods in the workplace. Of course not to enjoy music and have part during working hours but the iPods are uses in businesses to deliver and impart training and education materials. A training session of 15 to 30 minute for the employees where they are required to see and listen to different types of training can be easily done with the help of an iPod. So here we learn that iPods are not just used for entertainment reasons but one can also use iPods for learning and education.

It is possible to do private podcasts on iPod.

But there is a fundamental flaw here. iPod's are sort of "not permitted" in offices because USB is disabled from most machines (security issue). Of course, I am talking with the Indian office context.

What I mean is, iPod is permitted in office but they cannot be connected to the machines.

To clarify - I have not seen iPods being used for tutorials. I just said that it is possible.
