Default Pros and Cons of Plasma screens

Plasma screens are known to achieve higher levels of contrast. Unlike LCDs, the technology consists of a series of small capsules filled with plasma to give life to the image. When it is necessary to present the black, the capsules are completely extinguished resulting in an almost perfect contrast.

There are small plasma TVs generally start from the 32 inches and can reach giant screens that exceed 100 inches, without significant price increase.

Per inch resolution is lower than in the LCD, which is why we see a grid when we are too close to the screen.

    Pros:
    • Economic in sizes above 40 "
    • Greater viewing angle than LCD
    • The best reproduction of black

    Cons:

    • Less resolution per inch LCDs.
    • Reflections on the screen.
    • Heavier Screens.

I do not agree to the statement "Less resolution per inch than LCDs". Absolutely untrue.

I have seen true HD plasmas side by side to true HD LCDs. From a distance of 1 foot!

There was absolutely no pixels or grids seen on either.

But the black levels were far too superb on the plasma than the LCD.
*** Never argue with an idiot. ***

It would have been so nice of you if you shared with us all what exactly you think is wrong with the info posted by itsmemad.

You are not decreasing the confusion either...
