Combining the best of LCD and Plasma technologies, we have LED screens. It consists of a panel at the same resolution of LCD displays, illuminated by light emitting diodes, a kind of focus that can change the brightness level in different sections making it a Black color similar to Plasma.

LED screens consume up to 40 percent less energy than the other two technologies. Also, they are much thinner on average, approximately an inch wide.

They emit less heat and are more environmental friendly. Its installation is relatively simple and can even hang from the ceiling. The only drawback is price, which shoots up to twice an LCD or Plasma.
