Thread: Kindles to get touch screen ?

In a bid to probably have an upperhand over apples ipad Amazon has reportedly purchases Touchco which specializes in touch screen technology!.

This gets rumour mills busy guessing that Kindle 3 will have touch screen . Touchco’s merger with kindle raises the possibility of kindle getting colored too.

A Touch screen kindle with colours and well some apps what more should an ebook reader have ? Well a lot I guess adding a touch screen will not gve it an edge over other similar ebook reader especially when apples ipad provides all that with better integration of apps and less than 2 months to go for it to be out in market ! .

BTW it will be interesting to note if kindle will be available with touch scree on the same price of 250 + dollars ? Or well has amazon planned much more than touchscreens an Mp3 player too ? But this is just rumours nothing confirmed yet so kindle may not go touch at all !

A good competitive advantage to have the upperhand but it will have a lot more to focus on its promotion and market visibility.
