Thread: Technology Trends for 2010

Todays life is very modern and this is when technology comes in which makes the modern day living very easily manageable. Near enough everything we do is related to technology in some way or another, for instance me typing now is because of the computer technology, and this being live to people on the web is the internet technology.
Below is a list and small descriptions of the the trends in technology in 2010.

E-Reader - E-reader is the most sufficient gadgets for an avid reader, because it allows you to read your favourite books without having to actually carry the book itself. You just simply need to download the e-book save it on your reader and voila is there for you to read anytime.

Smartphone - There are a lot of things which need to be done such as check mails, type up a quick note or letter which can easily be done using a smart phone, which acts as a mini computer as well as being a mobile phone. You are also able to browse the internet and wont find any problems in searching or typing because of the QWERTY keyboard.

Virtualization - This is a different sort of technology mainly for businesses where they can actually create virtual storage or even an application, and then make this storage or application run onto different environments.

Netbooks - Many of you know that netbooks are something which are a smaller version of a computer and thus are more convenient as one can carry them anywhere and you are able to do any kind of work on them, even browse the internet using a mobile connection or wifi connection.

Consumer Laptops - Again something much smaller than the bulky desktop computer and are in most homes theses days , taking up less space and still being able to give all the facilities of a normal desktop.

There is a rapid pace in technological development the rate is different in different countries import taxes should be deducted to keep the world at par and match the pace of technological advancements.

I don't agree with third point here.

Virtualisation is being used every where now not just businesses.

Yes in social ways, in gaming and many more usage of virtualization.

Ipad is no trends as it has come out of box.
