Cellphone chargers

For Mobile phones a charger without using the mains adapter is possible.
The adapters are quite small and use Switch Mode Power Supply mode
circuits to avoid bulky step down transformers 230V A.C` to say 5V or 6V

Even from car battery outlet it can be charged. ( a small electronic circuit
needed to step down voltage/regulate current )Usually the basic principle
is to give the required voltage say 2.4V or 3.6 V or 5V as a trickle charge
(steady current ) for say 3 to 6 hours.

Emergency lamps come with a 6V battery and it can be suitably connected
to a small circuit to charge the mobile phone.OR get 2 0r 4 rechargeable
batteries , for emergency use.

I will measure the cellphone charger adapter voltage and will update info
here. (or what is marked in it ) one is marked 5V= D.C .7 Amps.

Incidentally, Most ADSL modems need 6 V at 1 AMP D.C= or A.C ~~~
