Thread: Best Earphones

Earphones/IEMs are preferred over head phones basically because of size and comfort. These are small and light and can be tucked away easily in a small pocket to carry around easily. Here a I will suggest some good ones. These are relatively cheap too. Hope you guys find it helpful.


First, ill start with the value for money product, the Sound Magic PL11.
Sound magic is a not so well known brand like the Sonys, creative, etc, but they do make good stuff and provide great value for money.

The PL11 cost around Rs800 and have really really good sound quality. Its not you Bass lovers (got a treat for you later !) but sound in general is good, better that any at its price range.

Their build quality is ok, not bad. They look ok, not the most attractive but not too bad.






Next is the bigger brother,the Sound magic PL21.
These have excellent sound quality and is definitely worth the money spent. It will be great to pair with your iphone, ipod or other MP3 devices. At Rs1100, if you can stretch you budget a bit, i would go for these over the PL11.





If your budget is around Rs2000 , forget the above to and get these:The Head Direct RE2. These are some really awesome earphones. They provide great quality along with great comfort. These have good bass but are not too boomy. They come with a good bundle too.



Hippo Boom IEMs: These are for Bass Lovers, the Hippo Booms are known for that. They come with a decent bundle. Has some foam caps, some bells and a decent pouch. The build quality is really solid too. For Rs 1650 with a Free Fiio E3 amplifier, its a pretty good deal.
