Is it possible to retrieve the pictures stored in sony digicam memory card once deleted.

Actually one of the kid in our family mistakenly selected the Delete All option while trying to delete one of the pic.

Is it possible to restore the pictures?? There were around 1200 pictures stored and thankfully I have got a back for around 60% of the pics but the most recent ones are gone. Is there any way out to restore them all?
