You can select an external/internal hard disk according to your needs. Check if the system supports it's interface (USB/SATA etc). No need to check processor support or supported size.

Popular Brands: Western Digital, Seagate, Transcend.

    Price list
    • 160 GB above Rs 2000
    • 320 GB above Rs 3000
    • 500 GB above Rs 4000
    • 1000 GB above Rs 5000

Any good brand and proven external HDD will work with your processor. It does not really depend upon the processor. But Mobo must have USB 2.0.

    Default Thanks buddies

I thank you all for your valuable suggestions. As many of you suggested, that size of External HDD doesnt depend on the processor, I would like to go for 500 GB.

    Thanks again,
    Have a lovely weekend, buddies.

What is the main purpose of the external HDD? Why not go for 1 TB or 2 TB? The price will not be double.

USB power supply device can be used like USB flash drive. It is plug and play. But the one with external power supply, apart from plugging in the USB be cable, you need to plug in the power adapter to the mains. So you need to always carry the power adapter with you.
