Thread: Help me to buy a digicam

Hello Guys
i m planning to purchase a digicam n the budget is till 7k.
Canon Powershot A495 has caught my eyes n also the budget wise is perfect, but before buying i would like to know your suggestion as I mostly will be using among my family n few outdoors.
I dont have any idea regarding the digicam as I am newbie to this.

Purchase any model in this range from Nikon, Canon or Olympus. These brands are good.


You can also check out Canon A3000 , Nikon S230. They are in your range good options.

there are different cameras for different kinds of photography... for home pixing though canon is unarguably the best..

a) 6 out of 10 will be loaded with EOS-5.
b) 3 out 10 will be equipped with Nikon's
c) 1 out of 10 will be with a Kodak DSLR

Kodak was leader of DSLR and had the best cameras. But they could not sustain in the competition and lost out.

but maybe due to pricing?? Canon has been very comptt. for prices..
