Default Need to get a New LED TV

    Hey all,
My old LCD is dying so I need to get a new LED TV ASAP (3D is out of question cause it starts at 100k)

    32inch is preferred

I have seen that Philips Advert of LED TV for 35k + 2 year warranty + Videocon D2H HD DVR + DTH recharge of
Rs 4444 (I like this because of HD DTH, its simply superb)

But also Sony Bravia is there for 37k

Please advise, other suggestions also welcome.

I hope that I am not too late in replying.

    a) If you are firmed up on LED, then Sony/Samsung/LG should be your choice in that order.
    b) In my opinion, better go for 40"+. 32" LED/LCD is actually smaller than 29" CRT.
    c) If you have budget constraints, then wait. Do not take half measures.
    d) Finally, I am a big proponent of Plasma TV. You will get a larger plasma for the same budget. But plasma panels are not manufactured/available under 42". Also plasma TV consumes a more power than LED (320W for PDP vs. 210W for typical LED).

    HTH.

    Its the aspect ratio
new lcd are in 16:9 wheres as the old crts are in 4:3 ratio, so the width may be more but the height is much less, and so is the area
