VU is a brand.

These are very cheap as compared to other established brands but I hear lots of negative reviews on eCommerce websites so that kind of explains the low price.

They don't advertise
They don't sell in showrooms.

So they are selling in their direct price

I have heard Vu its by Sony and its a brand promoted by Ranbeer Kapoor I guess

although an old thread, but still posting in hope that someone perplexed by this name and looking to buy reads this.

i can't tell about the service-aspect of VU, but have been reading some feedback regarding the TV on tech-forums. looks like buyers are happy with the PQ they are getting for the price. for those from Mumbai, they have their office near Hubtown (beside the 'zenith pc' building) at Andheri(E).
