Verna - Diesel rocks. Very good car with a good engine and great mileage.

Verna - Petrol is OK.

i10 is Petrol only. And in any case comparing i10 with Verna is not correct - they are in different segments.

Diesel cars normally give you more kilometres thenpetrol as a rule everything else being constant.

Comparing a diesel with a petrol is not a very good idea considering the cost of both the fuels are very different and the cost the these cars differe a lot as well.

When you say i10 goes 14-15 kilometres per litre of petrol and a Verna goes the same distance per litre with same amount of diesel the cost per kilometre is still very high for a Hundai i10 as compared to a Verna althought the cost of both the cars is a different story all together.

My Innova goes 18-19 kilometres per litre of diesel on highways that doesnt mean we can compare it with a Honda CRV which goes less then 10 kilometres per litre of petrol and say that its beter then a Honda CRV coz the Honda CRV is petrol run and is a different thing all together.

Hello Guys,

All the verna users i have a question. Have you all suffered a Pull in the car while driving towards either the left or the right hand side.

Cause i have and the dealer says its an issue with VErna cars specially diesel.

Let me know if you guys have any issue with teh same.

I have done that loads of time. The dealer also excepted that it an issue. and the only solution that they found out was that change the Wheels to Mag wheels and change the tyres that the company provided.

Any ways just wanted to know if any one had the same issue

I have driven just one Hundai Verna till date (diesel) total may be 150km and I found no such issue in that car.

Did you talk to any other service centre aswell? I hope this dealer didin take you for a ride just to sell you a new set of tyres

Yes i have,

I also spoke to people who own one in nasik and yes they did say that they face this option.

Recently they made some changes in the front suspension. and have asked me to check it. Will be testing it for few days and if no go would take it back to the dealer and this time i would also try to get it checked from a friends hyundai centre in pune. I think atleast he would give me the correct details.

If its still inside warrenty period then you can get compensated for this and may be they might actually pay you all the money you paid for the car if you punch them in the right place.

A few written complaints and an application at your local consumer court would be a good start.

Yeah i was thinking on the same terms regarding this and at least now the consumer court has started ruling out big time in the favor of the consumers. So if nothing helps that would be my last option.

Lets see how that goes and may be if i can get few more people from my city to join me regarding this it would help my cause.

Thanks a lot for your concerns. Helps a lot

regarding verna's pulling. i had same probs few times back. the probs was in the alloys i was using from the market and not the car itself. once i changed the alloys to better manufacturer the car became stable.
im using diesel variant n the milleage is 16-18.
nice car!

Check the wheel balancing of the vehicle. Take it to a nearest tyre shop and get it done. Hopefully it should stop the car being pulled to one particular direction.. !!
