    Default Idea 3G Netsetter in Delhi

    Hi,

    I had purchased an Idea Netsetter data card on July 2010. It is a 3G compatible device. However I am facing the problem of speed. It does not give me more than 30 kbps download speed during the daytime. It is very slow.

    I made a call to their customer care and they said that I will not face this issue because the 3G service is soon going to be launched and as the device which I am using is 3G so I am not going to face this issue. However can you please tell me that is it actually going to be happened? Is the speed going to be increased once they start the 3G service? When this service is going to be started in Delhi?

    Ei companyr lokra khub paji. Ora apna ke 3g modem 2011 age diyeche jokhon ki 3g akhoni start hobe na. Apni edger speed paben, jetaki 20teke 35kbps hote pare.

    hope idea 3g in next year starting. if you device is 3g and your connection(sim) also supports 3g then after the launch of 3g there you will get 2mbps (256kilo bytes/sec) speed.

    But i dont think idea has got 3G License in delhi.

    Whats your Net Setter Modem model number. (Eg., it will be displayed on back of the usb data card similar to Huawei 162G etc).

    Based on this information we can tell you whether you got a 3G supported modem. Just in case if you modem is a 2G modem, even the 3G idea launch will be of no use to you...

    Idea has the 3G license in Delhi...

    The model no. is E1550...

    The other information which has been written are :
    HSDPA USB STICK
    CE0682

    HSDPA is 3.5 G
    So you would get 3G service once it starts. Only problem is no one knows when Idea is going to start it. Also its not going to be cheap.
