Idea became the country's first GSM operator on 3rd April after launching unlimited 3G services for its prepaid and postpaid subscribers in Maharashtra and Goa circle.
Rs.750 for postpaid and Rs.950 for prepaid connection.
    But tarry a little.
There is a glitch too,as expected.
6 GB is the cap, after that surf unlimited @ 128 kbps.
    hahhahahahahahahahah

i feel the same.In fact all mobile broadband providers. They charge high, offer least.
Unless TRAI introduces "First try,buy option" like in UK,States, the service won't be improved.
And the users will be taken for ride all the time

Nothings gonna change. We are a developing country and will remain like that for ever. We will always remain 1 step behind the Americas, Europes and Chinas, it doesnt matter whether we are having the least call rates compared to the mentioned countries and continents unless the CHORI & GHOOSKHORI INSTINCT of ours diminishes...wait for 4G, it is rumored to be up and running by the end of this year in India, and then only we can expect to get some pocket friendly 3G plans...

FUP is followed in USA as well by AT&T and verizon too..shouldnt complain that much..the data tariffs in other countries are sky high..these are reasonable enough plans

In what way are the plans reasonable?? Ya its reasonable only in comparison with the American tariffs...but is it reasonable with respect to Indian economy?? And do AT&T limit the speed to a mere 128 kbps when the FUP is reached??

Its OK to put FUP after a limit, but 128 kbps after the limit really $ucks my d!ck. it should at least be 512 kbps.

come on, some one pays 1000 bucks for mere 128kbps ? are you kidding ! 6 GB gets sucked up in 6 days tops, and then what ? f***ing 24 days are nightmare when you waste 2hours for 2 minute jobs.

    A Simple suggestion-
Reduce data from 6 GB to 5gb or 4gb, and increase capped speed to >512 kbps and make our lives less miserable.

Idea is one of the pathetic service i have ever seen. customer care is very very poor.
They have announced rs 10/- for 30 minutes 3G, but customer care don't have any idea about that.
They don't even know what is the difference between 3G and GPRS. just a bunch of DUMP A S S's sitting on the other end of phone
    My idea Chennai : 8682880075
Now i have moved on to BSNL for the 3G service. i know that BSNL customer care is poor, but at-least they provide a decent speed and affordable rates.
We have to pay 50ps/call to idea customer care ...... but the information they provide wont be useful to us .... LOL (money gone)
PS: all India roaming is free in BSNL
