I saw that someone can send email to any idea user which will go as an sms.is there anything like that.?i got a leaflet from idea when i bought this sim,in which it was written that someone can write email to numb@ideacellular.com but its not working.i live in U.K.and my circle is Western U.P

I learned a similar thing about Vodafone,though I never tried it.Btw are you trying to send free sms to someone in India?

Didnt vodafone stop that service? We had it in here when BPL Mobile was in existence. BPL was bought by Hutch and subsequently by Vodafone. In between the old BPL subscribers lost this email2sms facility

Dont use this service.this service charges the reciever to read the sms.it charged me 3Rs.better ask my relations to send me a real sms.

It was free with BPL aka Hutch aka Vodafone. Dont know about Idea.

yes ... the similar service for vodafone was there for some time a few years ago ... i dont think it is working now
