Indian telecom companies are once again feeling the heat from TRAI. Call drops which have become synonym with these companies must be strictly dealt with -- according to TRAI. TRAI has already send a letter to all the CEOs of all the mobile service providers querying explanations for the frequent call drops. The consumers are forced to pay for downtrodden service and TRAI has recommended for per second billing instead of per minute billing. If this is established the consumer need not pay for the whole minute but only for the seconds actually used by him. This is especially helpful on congested networks as the consumers would be billed meager instead of the usual tariff.
