Rep Power: 1 | A useless & unnecessary move bcoz a hacker can hack secure wi-fi connections too & we the customers have to suffer ! |

| Gold Member | Hacking wifi is not that easy as you think, specially newer Security standards like WPA2. even if you hack WEP you need to capture lots of Data packets first, all this takes time. |

| " The Subscriber is fully responsible if any kind of illegal/anti social activities made through his Internet connection." Already suffered for BSNL's fault. Dread the day when something like this happens. We can expect more regulations as internet becomes the part of our life. Last edited by meetdilip; 05-02-09 at 07:05 PM. a) For those who opted for wireless modems with the connection, it will be known. b) For those who purchased their own wireless router, it will be difficult. They can only find out when they visit the neighbourhood. | |

Rep Power: 9 | ^^^ They would not even bother to find out. But if someone uses your wifi to send a mail threatening to say bomb India Gate, they would arrest you for aiding and abbetting terrorism and put you in Jail under the National Security Act |
