I just want at least they announce something new plan nothing more than that.

Now my wish is 3$ for 256 kbps or 5$ for 512 kbps unlimited.

Yes one thing probably sure that BSNL will reduce UL plan tariff as they already did for Calcuttatelephones (temporary offer for UL 750 is in 500 Rs)

My wish was same as some east asian countries.

500 to 1000? You don't even know the tariffs. Who's the noob? And please learn English.

TRAI has given a recommendation to the Govt. that in recent future, only connections of atleast 2 Mbps should be defined as broadband and there should not be measly data caps. And so it has even recommended Govt. to ask providers to equip themselves to provide real broadband. But the providers are fuming about this recommendation. They say it'd be a huge cost to go from 256 Kbps to 2 Mbps so they should be given the privilege of just upgrading the basic broadband to 512 Kbps. Any way if the TRAI recommendation comes into execution soon, broadband consumers especially who are power users will feel relaxed and even reasonably low power users will also feel happy.

BSNL still has not announced its plans. Any body know when its going to be announced?

In my opinion they should atleast provide 512 kbps unlimited in rs 750 and 1Mbps unlimited in 1350. This would be a real tariff slash in case of unlimited plans.

For other plans with data limit, it'd be reasonable if they move to more speeds like instead of upto 2 Mbps, plans could be either up to 4 Mbps or 8 Mbps.

The information that BSNL is going to slash tariff in reply to airtel tariff slash, i read somewhere on this forum and the post also had link to TOI source.

Other information about the schemes were my opinion. Still BSNL has n't issued any official information about this as far as i know, and I'm looking forward to it earnestly!
