Arrow Google is now ISP | Offers 1 Gbps over fiber FTTH

Google announced its entry into the market for Internet Service Providers. It's building a network of high-speed fiber in several U.S. cities reaching a total of 5,00,000 subscribers. The FTTH fiber connections to the home will have a speed of 1 Gbps at a competitive price.

The purpose of this network is experiment. The company believes that the Internet is evolving fast enough with the incumbents and more can be done. With this evidence, the company says, want to help pace the arrival of high-speed Internet to every home.

The localities where Google will invest in a fiber network will be in the U.S. and still to be defined.

Undoubtedly, this news is a genuine cold water for telcos, which increasingly distrust the voracity of Google, whose name has become gradually popular on Internet.

It is good that its not launched in India as the basic purpose of this network is experiment so if experiments succeed they can think of gradually expanding this source of network to different countries but it is true it is very deferred when India receives the technology not making it so latest.

Possessing such high speed will be great for operating realtime without much latency.

Google is the Goliath of the IT industry. It is good move by them but they do have the financial clout to realise this dream
