    Default mumbaities rejoice

for all people in mumbai i think its a good news to have qualcomm bag the bwa spectrum rather than vodafone which would have led us to sell our houses to pay their broadband bills i hope theyll implement it as fast as possible also since they are implementing td-lte which is a faster tech than the current ones we hope to get better speeds and faster service

i meant to say that if we had vodafone providing bwa in mumbai it would be costly like hell by comparing their plans in other cuontries youll come to know how costly they are as compared to other service providers

Are you overreacting a bit? Did you have to sell your home to pay BB bills?

This may or may not be offtopic but anyways here is my short story.

I got a BSNL bill of Rs 1,10,000 last month. I got the shock of my life. My hands were trembling and i broke into a sweat. I could feel my heart pounding hard and fast. Its only when i woke up i realised it was a dream (actually a nightmare). LOL

Btw im on 750 unlimited. lol lol lol

i had a mtnl broadband connection with 200mb d/l and they charged me 2000 rs as additional download charges for 3 months when i asked them to show me the usage log they said that the system was down and couldnt show me the logs but i had downloaded more than the limit even i had a download calc installed in my comp and it showed around 178 mb but mtnl refused to accept it saying that i must have tampered with it,if a psu like mtnl indulges in such practices i cant even think about what the private sector ones will do

Agreed that you had a issue.

But how does Qualcomm winning the BWA bid help?

@ vinit Do you really believe that some one at Bsnl tampered with your broadband bill to inflate it by Rs2000?

Bsnl or any other company will not take your bandwidth meter readings to charge you for excesses.. It is unreasonable to expect them to do that because if they started operating like that there would be a flood of complaints like yours.. The best thing you could do is get some unlimited plan and you wont have to worry about excess bills ever again.
