Thread: A Gr8 New ADSL Modem

Know what!! We guys made a ADSL2 Plus Modem...Believe me its great. It has upstream speed of 3 Mbps(Most Conventional modems have speeds of 1 Mbps upstream). And downstream is as good as others. Its supposed to carry IPTV too. The way we checked if these claims work was by sending a file(pretty big one at that)...through other modems and then through ours, it was faster. Does anyone know, how to measure speeds except by this method. Also IPTV hasn't come to India. How do we check it...Want more info on this modem get back to me...Oh yes what is the catch(there always is one). It doesn't look too good. That is its a plain box. We are working on that...If you got ideas on what all we can put in that box, you are welcome to share your ideas.

Yeah we did the designing etc. but the chipset is that of conexant
