Thread: has any broadband in India launched WIMAX?

just wondering, is there any WIMAX here in India?

read in the newspaper somet ime ago that reliance might launch WIMAX...but its India , lots of things are written but never implemented...

I guess sify has launched in some city in India, i guess Mumbai, but not sure. But wimax has not catched up in India so far, it is still in initial stages and would become widely used in the future.
