    Exactly

I am one of them and I did pick up a lot of it when it was trading below 18 for some time in the morning I have kind of made up for most of my losses

Another 15% rise would break me even on satyam

The operating margins as claimed by raju as 3% is a plain load of bull crap... or in other case if thats true then all others like infosys, tcs and wipro are also lying about their operating margins...

Satyam's stock is worth Rs18 as I said before in current scnario an its very much trading in the same range today as I claimed yesterday It will rise as the dust settles.

But admin,do Satyam have cash to run the buisness...

I dont know where the money would come from but Satyam cannot shut shop just as yet... 135 out of the fortune 500 companies depend on this donkey called satyam and if it stopped moving all of them companies will be in deep ****.

There are so many companies which satyam takes care of and does a lot of mission critical stuff for them and its just next to impossible for our government to allow satman to go to hell.

If satyam goes to hell so will our BPO and other IT companies. The rising star called BPO will die down with satyam is satyam dies

Dont know where the money would come from but The government of India cannot afford to let satyam shut shop so abruptly and this phase will pass very quickly.

Once the new management is announced everything is going to be fine.

The only sword hanging right now is LIC ... if LIC decides to sell Satyam then its gonna take another huge nose dive and LIC listens to the centre so if lic i not selling satyam then I can assure you that centre doesnt want satyam to die

So all in all SATYAM is here to stay mins that raju asshole.

    FYI

The government had disbanded the Satyam board and constituted a new board with three eminent persons -- banker Deepak Parekh, IT expert Kiran Karnik and former SEBI member C Achuthan. --- TOI

Talking about losses I had a massive interest in TCS which I sold at a good profit and entered satyam in a big way when it was trading below 18 and I kept buying all I could

I have already sold all of my Satyam and will live happily ever after

I do not have any positions in any IT companies now By the looks of it Wipro smells fishy as well... Any way its best to stay away from that sector

All in all Thanks Raju uncle for giving me an opportunity I hope you like it there in the lock up

    Unhappy

we had four pillars of I.T in India...

when internet came to my city(Nainital) in 2000 i was very eager about it..i mean how it works, how people do work on it etc..

60/- Rs was an average rate for one hour a$$ keeping on the a.c rooms of the cafe which was fully reserved by atleast ten guys(8 sits in all two friends of the guys who were there..)

in 2002(that was when i was in 10th, i got into internet..emailing was my first love..Indiatimes was the key player..
i had some 200 email accounts and that was sick(i know) but i dont really know why and what for...

than there came two key players in this field and those were Indians..
mantramail, and sify mail...i wasnt too much in rediff at any time of life...

satyam was one big love for me..one for it was an Indian firm doing good at the internet..
sify was its emailing portal..had some hundreds of accounts on it too..forgot all passwords and accounts there too

i wanted to know more of satyam...what was it??how it worked..
satyam for me was a south Indian giant who was the key player at that time..i was not into infosys( who is my brother's emplyer right now) neither tcs or anyone.wipro i remembered for vanaspati as by elder brother once told me..

now satyam my all time love is downed..why???who made Raju do all this??
what was the need to show the things in the cash flow look like profit??how much did he loose at end??

and we Indians have lost much after this..

the chair with 4 pillars has lost one of it..

    the I.T is shivering...

    govt. is shooked..

the world is watching all of us...

    i cant forget satyam....(

Azim Premji's letter to Wipro staff post World Bank ban:

    Dear Wiproite,

This refers to the press release we made today morning disclosing our vendor status with World Bank.

In 2000, in connection with our Initial Public Offering (IPO) of American Depository Shares (ADS) in the United States, Wipro offered a commonly utilized and Securities and Exchange Commission approved Directed Share Program (DSP) that allowed employees and clients to purchase ADSs at the IPO market price. The Program's objective was to involve employees and customers with the public offering to expand our recognition and brand. A majority of the shares sold under the DSP were allotted to our employees.

All participants in the program signed a conflict of interest statement that their purchase did not violate any ethics or conflict of interest policies of their company.

We have always prided ourselves for setting the highest standards of business ethics in our dealings with all our stake holders. We have built a strong culture which upholds compliance in letter and spirit.

The approach was no different in this instance also. Let me reaffirm that Wipro was right from a legal as well as ethical standpoint. We believe what we did was right and we did it in the right manner.

Wipro's success over decades has been built on the foundation of our values. The unflinching translation of the values into action has been through the commitment and resolve of all of you.

The Spirit of Wipro will continue to be the beacon that will drive our conduct in future as well.

Government has refused to bailout Satyam saying that if they bailout Satyam, then they (Govt) become part-owner...& in US, there are 10 cases/suits against Satyam.Which means he suits is against the Indian Govt,as it is the part-owner.
