Stock Market Thread! Despite of numerous request from certain members(including me), we didn't get a seprate section/heading for Stock Market.
So, I have decided to open a new thread on Stock Market to discuss things,learn new things, facts, updates etc..(Ofcouse, Kiran inspired me to do so).
Hope to see healthy contribution from the tycoons i.e Admin, J4K etc.

Sensex today opened at 12150... It went as low as 11760 and right now it seems to be recovering 11885...
P.S.- I just know that much of share market...

and i lost 57 rs too today

I have few questions, i hope someone answers them for me:
- What are you thought about the market post elections??
- "Market depends upon the Govt." - Is that true?
- "Congress comes to rule or BJP gets the Power" - which will be more significant to the market / Is that makes any difference.?
dont think so congress or BJP who ever comes there wont b much of an effect.......!

Market is to refresh a bit if either UPA or NDA comes to power, as both are Pro US govts. But will suffer if 3 rd front has the power to decide. As it may pave way to political instability, investors are advised to be cautious.
Do you have any idea of Rupee/ Forex trend. Is Rupee going to gain ? Dollar has to come down a bit today or tomorrow. If I am not mistaken, Rupee is already gaining after an initial set back a few months ago. Federal reserve will be forced to take steps in this aspect.

ICICI bank among the top gainers with HDFC gained the highest (7.66%)
