Will the trend be the same?

Default Will the trend be the same?

Some of you must be very happy looking at the upward movement of Sensex daily, while some of you might be hoping it to crash down again so that you can buy stocks again on much cheaper rate.

Not sure, where to place myself. As I still got few in my portfolio, therefore I am quite happy with the trend. But what in you opinion is NEXT?

I am not seeking for advice, just a casual opinion, what do you think about the growth, will it be the same and touch 20k, or you vision see a sudden crash(very low chances)? JUST YOUR OPINION

    Manish bhai,

If anyone could predict the stock market will never have to work ever again (umm, that hold true for almost anything, maybe).

But, I think that this bull rally is 75% speculative.

I mean look at the rise in the index:

    31/03/2009: Sensex = 9,708.50
    30/04/2009: Sensex = 11,403.25 - rise by 17.46% over March
    31/05/2009: Sensex = 14,625.25 - rise by 28.26% over April

The sensex rose by 3,222 points in May. Out of that over 2000 points rise was on a single day (18-May).

The basic fundamentals have not changed in a month, have they? But the FII are happy to return back to Indian bourses. And this is the main cause for rise.

Everyday I sell 1% of my holdings, but buying very little, so, I wish this growth sustains for 100 more days so that I can get the maximum and then I sincerely wish the market to fall so that I can buy. A wishful thinking indeed.

Expectation: Markets will rise not to 20K, but maybe to 16-17k, but there will be definite movement during the budget, same as there is movement during the elections(2004....Black Monday......and now after elections)

Wishful Thinking:Goes up to 18K so that i can sell what i bought at that value.

Some of them were bought at 18K vakues, but have till now managed to sell some scripts all at a profit of 12-14%....which for the high price which i bought i think is okay (atleast m not off loading at any loss)....but would have preferred to sell at min 25% profit....as long as am not selling at a loss its okay....
Initially when i bought i use to not monitor so closely, but now i do it like a hawk.....

What about yourself.....what are you holding...at what levels did u buy

I started trading only last year(soon after the crash) I had ICICI, JP Assos, Suzlon, Satyam (bought later), Parsvnath, DLF etc. My fav. are ICICI and JP Assoc. traded alot with these two.

I sold almost all of them, ($) except few suzlon and parsvnath.

Now waiting for another crash to invest again

Are brokers really trustworthy or they just want to make their own profit.?

What trust issue are you facing from your broker? In fact, they will be the most helpful to their clients because they (the brokers) are always in a win-win situation (in the form of brokerage charges). Regardless of their clients making / losing money, brokers will get paid.
