    Default Dividend and current value

    Hi,

I am confused about dividend and current value. Say i have one Mutual fund, in which i invested 10,000 Rs. It declares 1100 Rs as a dividend and that amt i already received in my a/c. In my online mutual fund a/c it shows invested amt 10,000, dividend= 1100, current value = 13500.
I want to know current value includes that dividend also? or the current value doesn't includes dividend.

One more thing i want to know in other Mutual fund i am in loss, still i received 135 Rs as a dividend. My Total current values is -ve then how they declare dividend and what should it mean.

There are two types of current values, Cum-Dividend (i.e. incl. dividend) and Ex-Dividend (i.e. excl. Dividend).
Since dividend has already been declared and distributed, the Current value quoted is Ex-Dividend, unless otherwise stated.
