please give me the name of banks nationalise in India in 1980 ?
i want names not numbers..

nationalised in 1980 well try civics book of class 9/10 cbse they all are mentioned there. i remember i read long time back

You mean those which were formed in 1980s??

did you do google search??

Google is the place to look for. I doubt whether members here are interested as to when the bank was nationalized. Just my opinion.

well most of them were nationalised in 1969. 7 more banks were added. but names arent available in google. but its there in civics book that i read.

well i have at home and my mom is a school teacher in KV :-P. so i can ask her and my dad was a pol. sc. hons student :-P he used to help me with civics in school days.

Well , CBSE had removed civics as a subject. Now my younger bro studied economics & political science.
I got answer as he is in commerce & he had to make a project on banks.
