    Default Creating a Portfolio!

    Hello Friends,

    I have got few extra bucks to invest in the market for about 6-8 months. I would like you fellows to help me out in creating a suitable portfolio. My total budget is around 4 lacs.

    My personal interest is in Shares like, Suzlon, ICICI bank, JP Assoc., DLF, Satyam, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Sterlite etc.

    However, I would like to request you to please suggest more stokes as per your fundamental knowledge.

    Suggestions are welcome.

    I think the shares you have suggested holds good fundamental values except some.

    Also, you should increase the time frame in order to increase your profit booking value. :thumbup1:

    unless you are able to keep close watch on day to day basis, try investing in a mutual fund.

    Please park your funds in a nationalized bank if the time horizon is short. There is no guarantee for any stock in the short term. Only if you have patience and a long time horizon, you should be entering the stock market. In the long term, the prices of stocks are determined by their earnings while in short term it is the sentiment.
