Thread: Analysis: Hero Honda

Hero Honda is a star performer on the bourses currently. It is a stock that should be purchased with a long term vision. The stock has given good returns to those who have purchased it.

Here is the performance from 1-Jan-2003.

As can be seen, the Stock has held on its own and has rarely dipped too much.

But Hero Honda was a disappointment during the Sensex boom of late 2007. It was trading far below the Sensex. See below:

Perhaps with hindsight it was good because it meant that the investors did not loose money in this scrip when the sensex crashed in Feb, 08.

Today, the scrip is outperforming the Sensex:

So I am recommending a buy here.

i think this time,the rally will be lead by auto stocks..
