ALmost every broker would let you run a report of your short term and long term capital gains/losses for each financial year.

I dont keep my own records as it is just a few clicks to download the report at the time of filing taxes. Which broker do you use? May be they have an option too on their website that you dont know of so it would be worth giving your broker a quick call and save yourself a lot of work.

I use IDBI CAPITAL and doing trading online by self only and that too before and after market hours bu putting buy/sell orders of-line. When ever market starts idbi cap send these orders through them to mkt and so on i am doing.

It does not calculate cap gain tax or profit and loss account. This is one of the least proffered broker but my work is small so I have not changed broker.

Only icici direct provide all the report in decent manner. Even HDFC is also not providing like icici direct.

Thus i need excel file to maintain my transaction and just simply at the end of year, take print out and give it to CA.

So if anybody have such excel sheet then may please provide.

    Try the attached file.

I would advise you to open an account with a company that does not charge you too much brokerage and also provides you with these small addon benefits.

    Sir,

I trade for delivery only. No intraday No F & O etc...
I do my self..i.e. giving order for my self for buy & sell.
I put orders after market hours.
My saving bank account is linked with equity trading account so I can do buy and sell activity limited to the balance to my saving account and balance at my demat account.
I need to talk to any body.
I did not go to broker to collect the payment cheque for the equity I sold or I need not go to the breaker for giving delivery slip for the quantity of equity I sold
It allows me to do activity in both exchanges BSE and NSE in all the segments.
It allows me to put orders after market hours. As I am an employee at MNC this facility is must for me. During market hours I can not do any thing.
I need not go out of my home for equity trade if on that day I am on leave and market is open.
As IDBI bank opens in my area newly so I opened three in one account with them which is Saving, Demat and Trading account.
After that so many good player I found, but transferring all the holdings of equity to another broker is very tedious job so I remain attached with IDBI capital / IDBI bank.
Thus I can not shift to another broker.
So I need the excel sheet which I described.
So I put / update this excel sheet weekly and at the end of the year the same can be submitted to my CA

If you can get these type of the excel sheet.
    Please provide.

    Thanking you

    With regards
