The company named city limouzines offering a wonderful (?) investment opportunity through leasing the car.

If we 25 % of the car value and the company will invest in the balance amount and also pay for the petrol , maintainance cost and the driver's salary !!! Apart from that the investor will receive a fixed monthly income for 5 yrs. The company would rent out the car to government institutions, BPOs etc and would let the owner to use the car for 2 - 3 days every 2to 3 months.

For example if we invest 2,25,000 / (for Honda city )- and receive a monthly sum of 8000 /- for 5 yrs. After which the car will be transferred to your name and available for your use. (I think the minimum investment required is 1,30,000/-)

Is it looking fraud ? :51: So many people advised me to join in this scheme and some of my friends are getting the promised returns also (Post dated cheqs given) ( how long???) . This is verymuch active in mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and the company is verymuch reputed also (the sponsor of Indian women Hockey team ) Plz post your experiences and comments .

Sounds very fishy to me... The reason being why would the company need to pay others when they can keep all the money to themselves as banks dont refuse to finance a taxi number car or any commercial vehicle and there is litrally no limit to how many you can get financed. I know some one who has a fleet of 750 cars here at New Delhi and all of them are either his own of financed and if and when he needs more cars he just buys more instead of looking for more investors.

If you could please post the agreement here it would be great as we can all then have a little discussion on this.


Mind you I know a few cases where some one took cars for long term hire and those cars were caught in Rajasthan after a few months and were used for criminal activities.

Is this something to do with radio taxi by any chance? coz if it is then thats something very genuine but the business model is a little different as compared to what you have mentioned.

How long has this company been in existance and how long have they been doing this?

My income 7 life has changed since I have invested a handsome amount & have been getting returns by way of post dated cheques every month since last 15 months ... to the extent that one of my initial investment , which I had done in jan 2008 is already been recovered, ... And it's not only me, we have atleast 8-10 friends in our group who have invested in it and reaping the benefits !

In todays market full of many fraudulent schemes , I must city limousines have been able to keep their promise to their investors

Sorry friends I've started the thread, but due to some prsnl problems i couldn't follow up.
Still now my friends are earning money through City Limouzine. But I am still afraid. How it is possible to give almost 100% return within a year??? Smell something wrong????

I have been hearing a lot about City Limouzine these days saying its a scam and what not.. If you know something about this company and how they have managed to provide 69% returns year after year then please share with us here.
As far as I know this is a ponzi scheme and is bound to fail very soon if it has not already as I am yet to come across any investment opportunity that could give me a 69% return per year... It sounds too good to be true.. I am not someone who would ever invest in these sort of schemes but I am sure interested in knowing what this City Limouzine people are doing

I haven't heard of City Limouzine. But 69%? Come on, now. This is a ponzi scheme for sure.

close on the heels of my earlier post , there is this another concern ( which happens to be related to the trust mentioned earlier) which goes by the name of " City Limouzines " and has an office in the Maker towers - an upmarket area in south Mumbai.

They have a scheme which works out as follows :

You invest in 25 % of the car value and the company would not only invest in the balance amount but would also pay for the petrol , maintainance cost as well as the driver's salary !!! Apart from that you would also receive a fixed monthly income for 5 yrs. The deal on a Honda City ZX worked out as follows :

You enter into a deal to pay 2,25,000 /- and receive a monthly sum of 8000 /- for 5 yrs. After which the car will be transferred to your name and available for your use.

Unlike the previous deal, this is more of an investment option and the company pays you for renting out the car of which you are a partial owner.


It seems they are in business for the last 11 years and also have offices in Delhi and Bangalore and have recently started an office in Hyderabad.

I have come to know that city limouzine has shut down a lot of their offices and a lot of investors have already filed cases against city limouzine. I dont know who is right and who is wrong... it might just be a case of a lot of investors asking for their money back at once may be and thats what brought the company to a halt... or may be they were just a quick money making scam that has come to an end with lots of people loosing their hard earned money.

Persons who invest in these schemes, should read carefully, the
conditions of the agreement usually printed in Font size No 4 or even less

No Director is personally responsible for repayment.
These deposits RANK LAST in repayment ,
if the company
goes into liquidation/ and a Receiver or
Administrator is appointed by Court/.

Even many reputed companies start a Financial Company,

Name it (dis) Honest/fidelity/motor/real estate/ rental cars/Balaji( God's name )! etc
( and because of the high reputation of the company)
we invest.
After a period of time interest cheques start
bouncing. The parent company absolves itself of all
responsibilities.
Even if repayment is Guaranteed by one or more directors,
you have to file civil case for recovery.

Say after a period of 5 or 8 years , you may get 20 % or 50%
of your investment ( with out any interest ),
as the Administrator appointed by Court, has to collect the
dues from the company's creditors and then only
pay in small instalments to the investors.

( And about the Company Law Board of GOI: a toothless organisation !)

In this case, with An RC book for the vehicles, it would have changed
ownership/or mortgaged again. ( You think
it is in company's name or yours ). Company may claim,that due to economic recession, regular income has gone , and they could not
pay the interest promised. The assets will be some cars ,
whose re sale value also will be low due to high mileage utilised.

House/estate/Farms/Shares etc of the Directors will be in the name of their wifes/daughters/in laws etc and beyond and beyond Court's
reach.
