    If that is the place where you have cut it then sorry mate that thing is history now. Nothing can be done. Thats a PCI-E card which will fit in only new PC's but not in the old PCI card slot.

    No warranty can be claimed now, nor it will work, best is if you still have the cut piece then rejoin it, take it to some electronics pro and ask him to rejoin, soldering "MAY" work i cant say for sure, but rather than wasting it, its worth a try
